You don't have to navigate this alone.
Donati Psychological Services offers depth-oriented therapy for adults and couples — exploring how your past shapes your present, so you can move forward with greater clarity, self-understanding, and the tools to build a healthier, more meaningful future.
My approach
My approach
I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities — including object relations psychodynamic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches — tailoring my work to what each client needs most.
At the core of my work is the belief that our earliest relationships shape how we experience ourselves and connect with others. I am also trained in EMDR, a specialized technique for processing trauma. Together, we explore those patterns with curiosity, identify areas for growth and pursue change — so you can improve your mental health and build healthier, more meaningful connections with those around you.
"The patterns that once helped us survive can become the very things that hold us back."
— Object relations psychodynamic therapy explores those patterns, with curiosity and care.
Areas of focus
What I help with
I collaborate with adults and couples experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns — always with an eye toward the deeper roots of what you're experiencing.
Anxiety & Stress
Anxiety often has roots in early experiences of uncertainty or threat. Using psychodynamic, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches, we'll explore what's driving it beneath the surface and build a more grounded relationship with your own mind.
Relationship & Couples Therapy
Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy and psychodynamic principles, couples therapy helps you and your partner understand your relational patterns — and build something more conscious and secure together.
Depression & Mood
Depression can be a signal that something deeper needs attention. Rather than just managing symptoms, we work to understand what your experience is telling you — and find a path back to yourself.
Trauma & PTSD
Trauma lives in the body and in our relational patterns. I am EMDR trained and provide a safe, attuned space to process difficult experiences and begin to loosen their hold on your present life.
Grief & Life Transitions
Loss, major life changes, and unexpected transitions can shake your sense of who you are. I help you process what you're carrying and move forward with greater clarity and self-awareness.
OCD & Intrusive Thoughts
Intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors often carry emotional meaning worth exploring. I work to help you understand what's underneath — while also reducing the distress they cause in daily life.
